A Review by Keith Smith
Since acquiring a new camera with the usual seemingly hundreds of menu choices, I keep looking at some of the camera and photography books we stock, and I eventually decided that this was the clearest, most useful one for me. KISS is what you want most of the time when taking photos, so that you can concentrate on taking the shot, and this guide to the various techniques you would want to use certainly offers very straightforward explanations and plenty of tips. I also like the fact that it is presented as a course with projects which will help build up operating skills gradually, improving your confidence all the time, and offering helpful advice when your results aren’t as planned.
This book is in the top 3 best-sellers for photography books. There is obviously a good reason for that, and it is extremely good value, a nice glossy hardback at only £14.99. Recommended.
