A Review By Frances
This is a re-release of an early romantic thriller written before Tess Gerritsen had really made her name. It is a fast-moving thriller and ideal holiday read.
When Nina Cormier is jilted at the altar she is left asking herself hundreds of questions. When the Church which should have been filled with her friends and relatives is blown up minutes after she leaves with the Reverend Sullivan she is even more confused, but it is only when a total stranger tries to run her car off the road that she and the police realise that it was she who was was the target of the bomber.
The plot moves quickly and is satisfyingly convoluted, but the romantic alliance between Nina and one of the policemen is rather too predictable. Nevertheless an enjoyable light read.
