“DK Readers” are part of a five-level highly pictorial reading scheme, with lively illustrations and engaging stories to encourage reading. Level 1 has simple sentences, limited vocabulary, word repetition, picture dictionary boxes and large type – read them together with children who are just beginning to learn and with early or reluctant readers.
