This book is good because it isn’t like the normal colouring books for children and I like the way it has a big picture in the middle. It has lots of detail in it and no words. It doesn’t tell you who Rosie Flo is but I am guessing she is a fairy. My little sister Hannah loves it and so do I. I like drawing the heads but struggle with the arms. It is particularly fun to imagine what the finished characters will looks like. Some have brown hair, others have blonde and some have blue eyes and others have green. I like the way all the dresses have different styles. I love this book and would like to give one to my friends.
Our review by Tamsin, aged 36 and a bit
Lauren reviewed Rosie Flo’s Garden Colouring Book, but there are many other titles including: Rosie Flo’s Holiday Colouring Book, Rosie Flo’s Night Time Colouring Book and, for boys, Johnny Joe’s Time Travel Book. Rosie Flo also produces beautiful colouring posters – the inside of a dolls house, for example. The illustrations are both charming and unusual and will keep children or all ages happily occupied for hours. As well as making fabulous gifts, Rosie Flo and Johnny Joe are a great standby for rainy days or long train journeys. Our conclusion: more fun, more intelligent and so much more appealing than your average colouring book. See more at rosieflo.co.uk or come in to Kenilworth Books to see the range available.
