A Review by Carolyn Dews
When ‘The Secret Ingredient’ was re-released I thought I would have a quick browse through it. I had heard Sally had suffered a heart attack at the early age of 36 and had decided to eat healthy food from then on. After seeing the first few recipes for soup I promptly bought the book. The recipes are very tasty from the wholesome ‘carrot and butternut squash soup’ to the ‘magnificent Moroccan chicken’ (delicious served with ‘spicy couscous’).
The step-by-step recipes are easy to follow and the illustrations are mouth watering. The food itself tastes as good as it looks. The book is easy to handle while cooking.
