A Review By Frances Smith
This is a set of cards each one showing three words and three blank spaces. The plastic-coated cards come complete with a special pen to practice writing the tricky words. As a straightforward exercise in learning new words, the idea is to read them, cover them up and write them, then check that the spelling is correct. As an alternative, the cards can be used for a family “Spelling Bee” type of game. The words include the most commonly misspelled words in the English language such as accommodation and definite, so even adults may well be challenged by some of them.
