A Review by Keith Smith
This, along with ‘Warwickshire Wildflowers’ was our best-selling book at Christmas. Local books usually are. This is even more interesting than Jacqueline’s last book on Warwick, as for nearly every location she chooses a ‘before’ and ‘after’ photo which show how much, or how little in some few cases, Warwick has changed over the years. I particularly liked the story of how Henry Ford used to visit his in-laws in Warwick, and walk around trying to recruit staff for his car works in the States! A lovely book which anyone who loves Warwick should have on their shelf.
